Trying new things

Everyone wants to travel at some point, but for those of us that want to travel for years, you will need a game plan. So this got me thinking about ways to pay for travel, hotels, and food. After researching, joining chats and endless pestering of those great bloggers on the better travel sites, here is what I have come up with. Btw, I will be at some point updating this in future pieces, showing how my journey is coming along and may even start a course to make money along with show you the reader how it was done.

How to make it  on the road:

  1. Write for others, use sites like Fiverr.
  2. Get sponsors, i.e., the big PR companies will pay for you to post or write what they want, these is will be for your site viewers, you get paid. Remember to always state that this is sponsored content.
  3. Work on sites like freelancer, here, you can get jobs in the tech industry for the short time.
  4. Get people to pay to put ads on your site. Start with something like Conversant. Like a site with different companies compete for your ad space.
  5. And the biggie for me, I am starting down the road, learning programming languages so that I can make money full time, or be more to the point, travel more than every other month.
  6. Join chat groups that are geared to what your travel style is, you will find like-minded people that will give the leg up.
  7. Here is the no brainer, credit cards, get the airline rewards cards that will make that next flight cheap or even free. The card that I have right now is from Capital One.

So there you go, this is the starting point to fund your travels and how I pay my site fees and keep the lights on. Please Like our Facebook page and spread the word.
